TJ Chapman isn’t your typical car guy—he’s a one-man motorized mission built on hustle, heart, and honesty.

It all began at just 19 years old, with a trailer, some tools, and a dream. TJ launched his career in mobile paintless dent repair, driving from job to job and perfecting the art of making tired cars look brand new. His signature service—the “TJ Special”—bundled dent removal, paint touch-up, cut and buff, and full detail at a price people couldn’t believe. The results? Cars that turned heads again—and customers who drove away smiling.

In 2003, TJ joined the founding team of Auto Source (now Auto Savvy) as their very first employee. He helped grow the operation from a dream into a full-fledged dealership, guiding them into their first commercial location in Woods Cross. That experience gave TJ the confidence—and know-how—to launch his own venture.

By 2009, TJ opened the doors to TJ Chapman Auto, which grew into a $50 million dealership. But along with the success came a realization: the bigger the business, the harder it became to connect with customers one-on-one.

Now, with Reel Deal Auto, TJ is back to doing what he loves most: working directly with people, one car and one customer at a time. He’s built this new dealership on the same principles that got him here—hard work, transparency, and treating people right.
